I was so close to finishing my Hack-and-Slash-fest with the printed manuscript that I decided to sacrifice a little sleep** in order to finish off the final pages.
The current word count reflects what I’ve got in Scrivener and, now that I’m finished on paper, the word count will drop (hopefully!!!) as I get everything typed in, which I hope to have done by the end of the weekend.
This blog post is gratefully dedicated to the pen I had been using which made the ultimate sacrifice this evening.
** Yes, sleep IS a thing. It’s a necessary thing that you should do…often. I’m only cutting that particular corner since tomorrow is Friday. 24 hours from now, I’ll be seriously considering sacking out and I’ll be able to sleep in on Saturday.
