Welcome, everyone to the Third Five Thing Thursday of December!! It’s the Penultimate Five Thing Thursday of 2018 and…
Here are Five Things I want you to Know:
Thing #1: I am blogging at 7:25 am on a day where I don’t have to go to the day-job…so that’s new.
Thing #2: I have finished the “Read it out Loud” phase of editing JADE MOON WANING. Editing pass #2 will be to transcribe my chicken-scratch notes, etc. to a copy of the electronic version – which will then become the new “Master Copy.” It will also be the version that goes out to my agent, and CPs.
Sooo close now.
Thing #3: I don’t know about you, but I dug Vice-Admiral Holdo in The Last Jedi. I *Really* wanted to go off on a rant about the folk that didn’t like her (Freaking petty if you ask me, and looking for a target for their “But the guys didn’t get to do ANY cool stuff” crap.)
I’ll spare you that, and say that I’d be interested in something that explores her backstory. There may be a book or a movie that gets into how she became a famous leader in that verse.
Thing #4: There’s a WordPress plug-in that’ll bring back the classic editor! I’m using it right now.
Thing #5: Today looks to be rainy and grey, so I’m going to spend as much of it as I can indoors and doing comfortable stuff. Here’s hoping that you get the opportunity to do the same.
