Five Thing Thursday: March 21st.

Welcome, everyone to another installment of Five Thing Thursday and…

Here are Five Things I want you to Know:

Thing #1: Captain Marvel !!! I saw it again this past weekend and it still holds up…

And I still want to see it again.

If you haven’t seen this movie yet, go do yourself a favor and put it in your eyeballs!

Thing #2: WALES WON!!!

That’s right, Wales ended the 2019 SIX NATIONS Championship with a Grand Slam (Undefeated) decisive win over Ireland. This ranks them as the #2 Rugby team in the world. In my perfect world, the 2019 World Cup will come down to New Zealand v Wales. I have no idea who the hell I’d be supporting but, damn, that would be one hell of a contest.

Thing #3: Beast in Black has a new album out. Put them in your ears. You won’t be disappointed.

Thing #4: I noticed this morning that I am copying things from my “To Do” list – One day to another – way too damned often.

Thing #5: I know I mentioned this last week, but Syfy Fangrrls is podcasting the Forgotten Women of Genre fiction all through the month of March. Give them a listen. There’s some fascinating stuff there.

###

What am  I reading this week?

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang.

A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe by Alex White

Phasma by Delilah S. Dawson.

What am I listening to this week?

The Functional Nerds Podcast. Among others (See Thing #5).

How have I been relaxing and refilling the well? This weekend will see me catching up on sleep (Remember that “Taking time for yourself” that I mentioned earlier?). I don’t have much planned for the weekend. I’ll be working on redoing the new Writing room, that’s nearly complete. I’m hoping for a bit of nothing to do…
