It’s All About the Scheduling

Heaven help me, I may be a morning writer.

That’s not to say that I *Can’t* write at other times, it’s just that it’s easier for me to get words down first thing in the morning.

Sidebar: It technically isn’t the first thing in the morning. I wouldn’t get very far without my coffee.

I think that part of this is because, later on in the day, there’s more competing for my attention and, if I wait until all the dayjob and chores are done, I’m just about spent.

This is one of those things I didn’t anticipate happening due to the World shutting down. I’ve been working from home since March and you’d think that with the “Extra” time that I’m not spending on the commute, etc. I’d be writing more often.

That hasn’t been the case.

What I have been doing lately is staying up later and later and sleeping in later and later, getting up with just enough time to spare to make breakfast and coffee (need the coffee) before hopping on the work computer.

So I’m going to have to figure out how get myself on a more consistent schedule that has me getting up early enough to get the words down – which will leave me time for other things, like drafting blog posts in advance…

Thanks for reading.

Be safe out there. Be Excellent to Each other.

I’ll see you on Thursday.
