Friday Fess-Up: November 30th.

Happy Friday Everyone!!! We Made it!

Gods, it’s been a long week.

Worse, I started this morning telling myself that all I had to do was make it through the next 12 hours and everything would be all right.  Additionally, I was feeling that I haven’t done much of anything this week.

The first part of that was true. As for the second…well, despite the level of ass-dragging I’m currently at, now that I am forced to admit that work did happen.

Now I’m perfectly capable of admitting when I’m wrong,* so I’m going to break it down for those that need it (Myself included).

Sunday, I finished revising STOWAWAY. What started out as an 11-Thousand word “Short” Story, ended up as a 6700 word-and-some-change finished product.

Monday, I sent the story off to my Crit Partner: The often imitated, never duplicated, Janet Walden-West.

She got back to me with her notes, on Wednesday, and I got back to revising. I finished the revision and…I just didn’t have the spoons to deal with cover letters and submissions after everything was said and done on Thursday Night. So, tonight, right after I hit “Publish” and crow about the new blog post on Twitter, my next task is to send Stowaway out into the world.

We’ll see what happens…

See you on Sunday!

*You–Yeah you–there in the back. Stop laughing.

What am  I reading this week?

The Chronicles of the Lensmen vol. 1 by E.E. “Doc” Smith. I have this in an omnibus edition. The story that I’m currently reading in this volume is “Triplanetary.”

The Black Company, by Glen Cook.

What am I listening to this week? The The Hybrid Author Podcast.

How have I been relaxing and refilling the well? This Weekend? Sleep. Lots of Sleep.
