I’m going to finish off this week with some words of encouragement.
That thing you do? I need it.
That thing that only you can do, whether it’s a game, or a piece of music, or a photo, or a painting, sculpture, a story, whatever it is, that thing that only you can create.
I need it.
I need it because I am not done with finding new work that’ll blow my mind, or kick my ass, or show me a world I’ve never seen before.
And, because it’s the thing that only you can do…I need you.
So don’t give up. Keep doing that thing. Because you never know whose life you’re going to touch, who’s mind you’re going to change, who is going to encounter your work at the right place, at the right time, and get blown away by it.
We all need you.
