Looking Forward

Hi there everyone, Before I get going, I would like to draw your attention to the first of a two-part series where my friend, Natania Barron stopped by to answer a few questions and to support her new book, “Queen of None.” Pop that link open in a new tab and give it a look when you’re done here.

On with the Post…

Welcome to the first Blog Post of December! It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it sure doesn’t feel like it should be December yet. On the other hand, in many ways, it also feels like it took the 12th month an entire year to arrive.

Trickling into my social media feeds are posts about folk beginning to work on their goals for 2021. I can get behind that – though that’s a post for another day.

Today I’m looking forward…well I’m also keeping an eye on the present moment, lest I walk into stuff – both literally and figuratively.

It’s always a good time to keep your eye on the road ahead, but as the end of the year approaches, I find it easier to do. Maybe it’s because there’s a sense of slowing down (Not that anything is actually slowing down) as we reach the closing days of the year.

Whatever the reason, today is the day where I start pondering the shape of the coming year.

I encourage you to take a few moments today to look ahead. Think a bit about what you want to see. It’s never too early to put it out there in the Universe. Give it a name – even if you’ve only got a vague idea of what it looks like. As you continue to look forward, it’ll become clearer, more defined.

Thanks for reading.

Be safe out there. Be Excellent to Each other.

I’ll see you on Thursday.
