Welcome to another Installment of Five-Thing Thursday!
Here are Five Things that I want you to know:
Thing #1: You will stumble. That’s ok. Failure is part of the process.
Thing #2: Not to take anything away from marathon sessions, but short, sustained, and consistent periods of work will get you there more often.
Thing #3: Downtime, or “Me Time,” where I stop working and relax, play a game, etc. may be – with the exception of Sleep – one of the easiest things for me to shortchange myself on. I’m doing it right now.
Thing #4: What’s playing on the Mental Jukebox today: Insatiable by Amaranthe
Thing #5: Be yourself, and I mean warts and all. Be you. No excuses, no apologies. Why? Because nobody else is going to do it for you. Nobody else can. And there is power in that.

How have I been relaxing and refilling the well?
As you may be able to tell from Thing #3, I haven’t quite been up to snuff on the whole relaxing and refilling the well thing. Hustle all week, then use the weekend to catch up on the things you let slide during the week for things like Sleep and Downtime.
Something has to change…
