Five-Thing Thursday: October 5th

Welcome to another Installment of Five-Thing Thursday!

Here are Five Things that I want you to know:

Thing #1: It’s Spooky Season!!! It doesn’t feel like it quite yet (Not that I’m complaining) but we’re moving into one of my favorite seasons.

Thing #2: That thing you want to do, but aren’t because (insert reason here): You’re fooling yourself. Do one thing that’ll take you closer. Even if it’s only for 10 minutes. You’ve got 10 minutes – and if you think you don’t your thinker is fooling you because it wants to stay comfy just where it’s at.

Thing #3: Even if it’s cooler in your neck of the woods, now-a-days, if you’re going to be out in the sun, wear sunscreen. Radiation doesn’t care how warm it is.

Thing #4: What’s playing on the Mental Jukebox today: Age of False Innocence by Blind Guardian

Thing #5: We’re getting closer to the knock-out stages at the Rugby World Cup. There’s a lot on the line this coming weekend – so exciting!!!

What am  I reading this week?

Furious Heaven by Kate Elliott

Minimum Wage Magic by Rachel Aaron

Stop Saying You’re Fine by Mel Robbins

How have I been relaxing and refilling the well?

I am going to start making changes to protect my energy. Sleep factors in (because of course it does), but so does focusing on things that lift me up and recharge the batteries. Yes, there’s stuff that I’d like to reduce, or eliminate, but I know what those things are, and I’m not going to grant them the space on the page here. Focus more on what you want to be doing.

If you’ve read, and enjoyed any of my books, please consider leaving a review:

Crimson Whisper: A Wainwright and Holliday Adventure

Weird Wild West

Trials

Predators in Petticoats

Grease Monkeys

See you on Sunday!

Until then…

Be safe. Be Excellent to each other
