Five-Thing Thursday: March 7th.

Welcome to another installment of Five-Thing Thursday!

Here are Five Things that I want you to know:

Thing #1:  It’s early, but the Spring Peepers are Peeping! That’s once. Local folklore holds that when you hear them for the third time, Spring has arrived.

Thing #2: On a related note, I’m really ready for Spring.

Thing #3: Sometimes you just have to improvise. It relies on listening, so improv is a good skill to develop

Thing #4: What is playing on the Mental Jukebox this week: Shadows by Small Town Titans

Thing #5: I’ve started exercising my hands to better help me learn to play the guitar and I’m even more convinced that the only thing my left hand is good for is keeping my left wrist from fraying at the end…

What have I been reading in 2024?

A Bad Deal for the Whole Galaxy by Alex White

Wonderbook by Jeff Vandemere

A Cavern of Black Ice by J. V. Jones

What am I looking forward to this week?

The Six Nations is back! This is going to be a tense weekend. Wales has been struggling because they’re in a significant transition phase. France have been struggling because they’ve lost their talismanic players to either injury, or The Rugby 7’s series. It’d be nice to see Wales come out on top. Also, Scotland have to beat Italy and, ideally, England would do us a favor by beating Ireland – there are other iterations, but they involve statistics, so yeah, just beat Ireland this once.
