Friday Night Lightshow (5/10)

Sometimes, you get ahead of the game. Like say you’ve got a pre-drafted entry for a particular Sunday Blog post. It’s just about ready to go, then something happens which completely overshadows what you’ve got and you just have to talk about this other thing.

Well that’s what happened this past Friday. I was able to see the Northern Lights from my neck of the woods. I’ve never seen them before and let me tell you, the following photos don’t really do proper justice to the real thing.

But, in the spirit of If you see something, say something I have to share these with you.

Behold:

This is from my front yard. All photos were taken with my phone’s camera. None of them may be used for anything without permission.

This next one catches a communications tower that’s up the road.

I like the shape of this next one. Kind of like a bird.

I’ve got more, but I think you get the picture. The World (and Beyond) is chock-full of wonder and awesome if you take the time to get out and look for it.

Thanks for reading. Be safe out there. Be Excellent to Each other – and yourself.

I’ll see you on Thursday.
