Five-Thing Thursday: January 23rd.

Welcome to another installment of Five-Thing Thursday!

Here are Five Things that I want you to know:

Thing #1: That wasn’t a wave. It wasn’t a Roman salute, and it wasn’t overstimulation or any of the other flimsy explanations floating around out there. It was deliberate, and it was a diversion – at the very least. If you find yourself making excuses for what it otherwise could have been, and if you value our relationship at all, stop. Think and be better.

Thing #2: There is a six-planet alignment going on. One of these nights, maybe it’ll be clear enough for me to see it.

Thing #3: I kind of played a prank on myself, buying a telescope in the dead of winter…

Thing #4: What is playing on the Mental Jukebox this week: Like Light to the Flies by Trivium

Thing #5: Every day, you make a choice…about everything you do. Literally everything. Imagine the power that brings.

What have I been reading in 2024?

Planetside by Michael Mammay

Assumption of Risk by Michael Stackpole

The Creative Ambush by Matteo Di Pascale

What was new to me this week?

I saw an MRI of a knee (well a print out of an MRI image). Pretty cool. I’ve only ever seen X-Rays and this was a whole other dimension.
