Friday Fess-Up: December 28th.

Happy Friday Everyone!!! We Made it!

This has been the second week of my End of the Year Vacation!!!

And I went and did it. I took a few days off since the last Friday Fess-Up.

Then I took a couple more days off…

OK, so I wasn’t a paragon of productivity, but it was the Holidays, so that’s all right.

Not that it wouldn’t have been all right if it wasn’t the holidays. We’re allowed to take some time off and refill the well.

But let me tell you…

I *so* felt like I should have been doing something on the 25th. Christmas day, and I felt like a slacker for not getting any writing done.

That’s an imbalance.

I was able to recognize that for what it was, and I stuck to my “This is my day off” guns, and I didn’t get anything done on Christmas day.

And, on Wednesday, I went back to writing and I’m back on my schedule which is going to continue to be awesome up until the 2nd, when I go back to reality (aka the day-job).

Can’t say that I’m looking forward to it.

What I am looking forward to is ConFusion 2019! ConFusion will be Dearborn on the weekend of the 17th (which is a Thursday) through the 20th.

I don’t have a schedule yet, but when I get one, I’ll put it up on my Events page.

See you on Sunday!

What am  I reading this week?

The Chronicles of the Lensmen vol. 1 by E.E. “Doc” Smith. I have this in an omnibus edition. The story that I’m currently reading in this volume is “Galactic Patrol.”

The Black Company, by Glen Cook.

What am I listening to this week? The Galactic Suburbia Podcast.

How have I been relaxing and refilling the well? This Weekend? Sleep. Lots of Sleep. I’m also going to try and get a bit more reading in than I have been over the past few days.
