Five-Thing Thursday: May 9th.

Welcome to another installment of Five-Thing Thursday!

Here are Five Things that I want you to know:

Thing #1: I used to hate not finishing a book I was reading. I still don’t like it, but now I realize that I’ve only got so many books left to read, so if I’m not into it, it’s time to move on.

Thing #2: Days…They can’t all be winners. The trick is to not let those days bleed into the others – which is sometimes harder than it seems.

Thing #3: You can’t do everything all at once.

Thing #4: What is playing on the Mental Jukebox this week: As the Pages Burn by Arch Enemy

Thing #5: There is no such thing as a self-made person…or an overnight success.

What have I been reading in 2024?

The Worst of All Possible Worlds by Alex White

Wonderbook by Jeff Vandemere

Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg

What am I looking forward to this week?

I’m looking forward to a little bit of rest this weekend. Ok, downtime. If the weather is any kind of nice, I’ll be out for a walk, but I need to unplug from the day-to-day for a couple of days.

If you’ve read, and enjoyed any of my books, please consider leaving a review:

Crimson Whisper: A Wainwright and Holliday Adventure

Weird Wild West

Trials

Predators in Petticoats

Grease Monkeys

See you on Sunday!

Until then…

Be safe. Be Excellent to each other
