Five-Thing Thursday: May 16th.

Welcome to another installment of Five-Thing Thursday!

Here are Five Things that I want you to know:

Thing #1: I need to figure out how to remind myself to get up and move when I’m working, without knocking myself completely out of The Zone, because sitting for hours at a time is bad.

Thing #2: The world will try and insist that everything it throws at you must be the priority, but you control what you give weight to.

Thing #3: Training your hands to play guitar is surprisingly hard.

Thing #4: What is playing on the Mental Jukebox this week: Midnight Lightning by RoadWolf

Thing #5: I’ve discovered that taking the amount of time it takes to drink a cup of coffee, to actually stand outside and drink that cup in peace is worth the effort.

What am I looking forward to this week?

I am looking forward to taking my foot off the gas as far as life is concerned. It’s been busy.
