Thing #2: Some days, despite everything you do, the day simply gets away from you. And that’s OK.
Thing #3: The pressure to get The Thing (whatever that thing is) done, can sometimes overshadow the act of doing The Thing. And that can suck the life out of you. I have to remind myself of this, more often than I like to admit.
Thing #4: If you’re not digging a book, you’re not obligated in any way to finish it. I did this recently and found it both incredibly liberating, and astonishingly hard.
Thing #5: For some reason, or a variety of reasons, this has been a hard week. So, if you’re struggling, I see you.
