Welcome, everyone to another installment of Five Thing Thursday and…
Here are Five Things I want you to Know:
Thing #1: Editing is still progressing for JADE MOON WANING. I got stuck on trying to iron out a bumpy scene and that took me a couple of days, but I’m moving forward again, closing in on page # 300.
Thing #2: Schedule time for yourself. I jokingly sent out a tweet saying that I needed to put “Take some time for yourself” on the “To Do” list. After percolating for a couple of days, I realized that I wasn’t really joking. I don’t know about you, but my days are busy as hell, and still I’m fretting about getting more and more done. That’s a bad practice, because there’ll always be something else that needs doing. I need to realize that whatever it is…it can wait while I recharge.
Thing #3: I don’t know what put it in my mind, but recently, I went back and dug up my copy of Judas Priest’s Defenders of the Faith album. Now I can’t claim to be the biggest Priest fan in the world, and I think it had been several years since I’d deliberately put on some of their music….
Damn, that’s a good release. I’ve listened to it several times over the past week and haven’t gotten tired of it. So, take some time to go back to the stuff that you really used to dig and see if it holds up. The down-side is that some of it won’t. You’re not the same person that you were then, and that’s a good thing.

Thing #5: Remember: It’ll be OK in the end. If it’s not OK, it’s not the end…
