Thing #2: The Synopsis has been emailed off and, now I’m in the “Not-Waiting” Phase. To pass the time, I am polishing up a couple of short stories for submission. Once those are out the door – so to speak – I’ll start outlining and worldbuilding the new novel.
Thing #3:I know I’ve said this before, but I need to remind myself for the following:
Sometimes, you do all the planning and shit still happens to knock you off the rails. This is the exception, not the rule. do what you can to get past it as quickly as you can.
Thing #4: This time last week it was -40 with the wind chill. Today it will be rainy and 53 (note the lack of the minus sign). To whomever has been fucking with Michigan’s thermostat: Your privileges have just been revoked.
Thing #5: Keep going. You’re only a day away from the weekend. You got this.
