Welcome to another installment of Five-Thing Thursday!
Here are Five Things that I want you to know:
Thing #1: It’s been some few days since I’ve retired – and that first day, I didn’t quite know what to do with myself.
Thing #2: We’re not machines, and nobody’s perfect – while true, and we all deserve some grace – doesn’t quite dull the edge of disappointment at shrimp overdone by one’s own hand.
Thing #3: Trust your heart – I’d be surprised if I hadn’t mentioned this before, but it does bear repeating.
Thing #4: What is playing on the Mental Jukebox this week: Hole in the Head by Accept
Thing #5: On Tuesday, July 30th, The US Women’s 7’s Rugby team won their first ever Olympic Medal. They upset Australia for Bronze. If you saw it live, you were watching History being made.
