Welcome to another installment of Five-Thing Thursday!
Here are Five Things that I want you to know:
Thing #1: It seems like, practically overnight, Mother Nature turned Allergy Season up to 11
Thing #2: It’s an odd thing, revisiting music that you used to dig, but haven’t listened to for several years or longer.
Thing #3: If you haven’t already, check out the Ale! And Well Met Podcast.
Thing #4: What is playing on the Mental Jukebox this week: Up All Night by Slaughter
Thing #5: Ok, just hear me out on this: Breakfast Nachos…

What have I been reading in 2025?
Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells
The Big Bad 2 Edited by John Hartness and Emily Lavin-Leverett
The Creative Ambush by Matteo Di Pascale
Voice Over, Voice Actor by Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt
What was new to me this week?
Stick it to Ya by Slaughter. While technically not new (it was released in 1990) either in terms of when it was released and whether or not I’d heard it before (It was part of the soundtrack of my life in the early-mid 90’s) it’s been decades, easily, since the last time I gave the album a spin, and I am most definitely not the same person I was back then, so I’m calling it new. It’s a classic case of a good (to me) song or songs, being able to stand the test of time, while others age less gracefully.
